How to check if your phone is already unlocked
Before paying for an unlock, run a free IMEI check — many phones are already factory unlocked.
Many devices ship unlocked or are automatically unlocked by the carrier after a contract ends. Before ordering, run an IMEI check to confirm your SIM-lock status.
If the report says "unlocked", you are already done — just insert any SIM.
